I love sour beer and I love brewing.
However, too often have I gone to the beer store hoping for tasty wild ales, either to be turned away by an outrageous price or turned off by what tastes like the equivalent of a malt vinegar soaked sour pickle. Too often have I stood in hour long lines for a real beer, that shows off the true colors of those funky critters we all know and love. It’s about time to give this a go myself. With a little brewing knowledge and a willingness to learn, I’m going to create my own sours.
Together, we’ll learn to brew something that’s truly wild, tart, and sour.
